Nachtschicht

For the graduating classes of 2018, I was responsible for the overarching theme, communication and organization with the graduating class, creating the graduates' catalog, and organizing the diploma exhibition and party.

 

“Nachtschicht” aimed to reveal the numerous processes, discarded ideas, procrastination, joy, and often late-night work visible to the viewer. This journey was reflected throughout different aspects, like glossy paper showing the final product in black and white conveying classic seriousness, japanese binding hiding the colorfull process behind tearable pages, as well as fluorescent ink.

 

The exhibition was divided into Industrial and Communication Design, each with distinct color coding. This scheme was consistently applied in the catalog, signage, and wayfinding system, creating a cohesive visual experience.
